Director
Mal. Ahmad Shehu
It is headed by a Director answerable to the Vice-Chancellor in coordinating the affairs of the many units under the Directorate. The units are: (i) Public Relations, Protocol and events Management Unit, (ii) Legal Unit, (iii) Information, Publication and Documentation Division and (iv) Advancement Office. The Public Relations, Protocol and Events Management Unit handles protocol issues, visitors and arranges university events, as well as assist faculties and units with their events. The legal Affairs Unit handles legal drafting and all other legal issues involving the University, including litigation. The Information, Publication and Documentation Division handles the collection and dissemination of relevant information to members of the University Community and beyond through the weekly bulletin, BUK Today monthly magazine, staff list, the University Calendar and other publications. The Advancement Office serves to attract corporate and philanthropic support to the University, as well as develop meaningful engagements between the University and its present and future alumni.
