Admission Requirements

  1. For entry into 100 Level:
    Five SSCE/GCE/NECO O/Level credits obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. For Direct entry into 200 Level:
    Minimum of five subjects passed at credit level in not more than two (2) sittings with at least TWO ‘A’ level and THREE others which must be credit at ‘O’ level. (No subject should be counted at both ordinary and advanced level).
    • OR A Diploma in Industrial Chemistry of Bayero University or any other recognized institution with at least a CREDIT.
    • OR Candidate with IJMB credits in chemistry, physics and mathematics.
    • Passes in two (2) major subjects in the NCE with ‘O’ Level credits or equivalent in three (3) subjects.
    • OR OND upper credit with minimum of three (3) ‘O’ Level credits in major subjects.
    • OR Any other equivalent certificate deemed fit by the Departmental/Faculty of Science admission committee.
