Admission Requirements
The main entry point into the B. Eng Civil programme is the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) including West African Examination Council (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) or their equivalence. Candidates must satisfy all University entry requirements plus passes at credit in at least five subjects (including Mathematics, English, Chemistry, and Physics) all obtained at not more than two sittings.
1) Level 100:
Admission into Level 100 requires, in addition to the above, an acceptable performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and Post UTME conducted by the University in the relevant subjects which include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
2) Level 200 (Direct Entry):
Candidates who apply for direct entry are admitted into Level 200, provided they satisfy the following requirements in addition to the above general requirements.
i. They have at least five credits in subjects including English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry at O level.
ii. They have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of Upper credit, or
iii. They possess the required number of points in IJMB
