A level 400 Mechatronics Engineering student of Bayero University, Kano, Suleiman Arabi Suleiman, has emerged as a winner of the Dabo Hackathon Innovation Challenge 2025, securing a grant of ₦5 million for his outstanding innovation.

Suleiman, who has a CGPA of 4.96, was presented with the cheque at the closing ceremony of the Hackathon competition held on 23rd December 2025. His success represents a significant achievement for Bayero University, Kano and highlights the University’s growing strength in innovation, entrepreneurship and technology-driven problem-solving.
