Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has formally appointed three new Deputy Vice-Chancellors, who received their letters of appointment on Friday, February 28, 2025. The appointees are Professor Haruna Musa (DVC Academics), Professor Amina Mustapha (DVC Research and Development), and Professor Aliyu Muazu (DVC Management Services). They are set to officially assume office on Monday, March 3, 2025.

The appointment letters were presented during a special ceremony at the CBN Centre of Excellence, which also featured a grand reception in honor of the outgoing Deputy Vice-Chancellors, who successfully completed their two-term tenure.

While presenting the letters, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, accompanied by Registrar, Haruna Aliyu, congratulated the new DVCs. On behalf of the Council, Senate, Congregation, staff, and students, he expressed confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to the university’s growth and wished them success in their new roles.
