Mallam Abubakar Dauda (Sarkin Daji Adamawa) was born on January 20, 1957, in Mayo Balwa, Adamawa State. He studied at Mayo Balwa Primary School and Aliyu Musdafa College before earning a Diploma and HND in Estate Management from Kaduna Polytechnic. He began his career as a Clerical Officer in the Ministry of Works, Lands & Survey in Gongola State, rising to Director of Land Services before retiring in 2012 to join politics. Honored with the traditional title of Sarkin Daji by the Lamido of Adamawa, he remains a respected figure in the Adamawa Emirate.
