The Jigawa State Government and the Women Farmers Advancement Network (WOFAN) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their partnership to accelerate agricultural transformation, expand opportunities for women, youth and persons with disabilities, and scale up food security initiatives under the WOFAN-ICON2 Project.

The Women Farmers Advancement Network (WOFAN), Prospects Development Services (PDS-UK), other regional and international participants have unveiled an action plan to apply strategic communication, digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) in leadership, decision-making and peacebuilding.

Participants comprising stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including policymakers, academics, chief executives, media professionals and other professionals, spent the second day of their Kigali study visit at the Rwanda Cooperation Initiative (RCI) as part of the international training programme organised by Bayero University, Kano's strategic partner, the Women Farmers Advancement Network (WOFAN), in collaboration with Prospects Development Services (PDS)-UK.

The Bayero University, Kano Staff Wives Association (BUKSWA) has unveiled a new strategic direction aimed at improving the livelihoods of its members through a partnership with the Women Farmers Advancement Network (WOFAN).
