The Management of Bayero University Kano wishes to inform all NELfund second batch beneficiaries who are eligible for refund that the refund process is now open.
To receive their refund, eligible beneficiaries are required to submit their account details through the following steps:
Dr. Abdullahi Hamisu Shehu, a distinguished scholar from Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has been awarded the prestigious 2023 African Studies Review/Cambridge University Press Award for Best Africa-Based Doctoral Dissertation. The honor was conferred during the 67th Annual Meeting of the African Studies Association (ASA) held in Chicago, USA, from December 12 to 14, 2024.
The Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, has provided insights into the University Management’s decision to reintroduce the Remedial Programme, which was suspended over a decade ago. Speaking at the 59th Congregation meeting on Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the key factors that prompted the initiative.
The 59th Congregation of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) commended the appointment of Haruna Aliyu as the 7th substantive Registrar of the University.
Aliyu’s appointment, made by the 15th Governing Council on Thursday, August 22, 2024, was celebrated during the Congregation meeting held on Saturday, December 14, 2024. It marked his first attendance as Registrar.
Bayero University, Kano (BUK) held its 59th Meeting of the Congregation on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The meeting focused on key issues relating to the growth and development of the University.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, who chaired the meeting, addressed Academic Activities, Administrative Matters, and Project Completion and Execution.
Bayero University, Kano (BUK) will convene its 59th Meeting of the Congregation on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The meeting will focus on matters related to the growth and development of the University.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, who serves as the chairman of the Congregation, will preside over the meeting.
The Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, formally received the accreditation report for the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education programs on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The report was presented by the accreditation team from the National Universities Commission (NUC).
