Bayero University, Kano, has commissioned 20 solar-powered tricycles under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) intervention, aimed at enhancing campus transportation, promoting innovation, and advancing green energy solutions in Nigerian universities.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Monday, October 20, 2025, marked a major step in the University’s drive toward sustainable mobility and environmental responsibility.

BUK Senate Recommends Prof. Tsauni as New DVC Academics

The Senate of Bayero University, Kano  has recommended Professor Ahmad Muhammad Tsauni, Director of the Bayero University Press, for appointment as the next Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics.

The decision was reached during the 428th Meeting of the University Senate held on Thursday, 2nd October, 2025. The recommendation will be forwarded to the University Governing Council for consideration and approval at its next meeting.
